Call me aged fashioned, even though I just don’t “get” the indoor appliances that people are wasting their money on these afternoons.
I’ve never been a important spender, myself, but to see how folks just keep throwing cash at updated, updated, indoor machinery has been blowing my mind for a while now.
There’s a “smart” version of everything these afternoons! Even your washer and dryer, dishwasher, and refrigerator can be linked to the internet. I thought it was silly enough when I found out about updated heating and cooling solutions being linked up to WIFI so you could control the indoor temp from anywhere. Then I found out that things have gotten even more deranged in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C world! You can very install a system that heats and cools parts of your loft distinctly! It’s wild to see all the fluctuations in one lifetime. We couldn’t even use heating and cooling in my childhood loft as a kiddo. We weren’t allowed to use indoor air quality control on a common basis because the system was so aged and high-priced. The boiler system and single window AC unit were never enlisted for temperature control, really. That’s why it’s so wild these afternoons to step back and consider the chance of a whole new indoor air handling system with internet linkability, smartphone apps, and separate temperature zone controls. The idea of separately controlled uneven temperatures in one loft with one Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system blew my mind when I first heard about it – in a terrible way. If you’re uncomfortable in one room, put on a sweatshirt and stop complaining. There doesn’t have to be a high tech solution for everything.
