I have gone through the entire complicationshooting section for the boiler plus still can’t seem to keep it running.
I changed out the filter, checked for any obvious signs of wear plus tear, plus even held my ear to the unit to see if I heard any bizarre noises.
I am not a handy guy when it comes to anything beyond the basics so I knew I needed to call in a professional. They said that they could have someone out in a couple of days plus since it was still in the fifties outside I didn’t absolutely have a problem with that. We just bundled up plus put a few extra blankets on the bed. When the worker arrived it only took him a few moments to diagnose the problem. The pilot light kept going out because the feeder line was corroded, and once that was cleaned plus the gas could flow freely the problem was solved. It didn’t even cost as much as I had feared it would. The worker told me that had I signed up for an annual service agreement it would have been checked every year plus never had the build up that it did, then he told me that the company was having a special on the plan plus that it included a free filter for the next two years. I decided to sign up plus it gave me peace of mind that I didn’t have to worry about it for a while plus I could focus on other small repairs that needed to be done.
