Kerosene Heaters

Kerosene Heaters

My husband is the hardest working man I know, and he wants a heated garage so badly, but we just don’t have the finances to build one right now. He works long days, and is often tired, but he never stops going until it’s time for bed. Right now, he does all his outside work in a little shed behind our house. It’ not the nicest area to work in, but it works for now. My husband spends hours working on his ATVs and tractors. His father was a mechanic, so my husband inherited his love for mechanics from him. Where we live, it’s cold for most of the year especially during the winter months. The temperatures rarely rise above ten degrees Fahrenheit, and the shed out back doesn’t have any heat. My husband is the manliest of men, and he would work without heat all day long, but I worry about him being out in the extreme cold during the winter months, so I asked him if he could do something about it. He didn’t want to pay the money to install a heating system, so he bought a kerosene heater instead. It works great for the little space, but it smells horrific. Well, in my opinion it smells horrific, but in my husband’s opinion, it smells great. I almost regret asking him to heat the shed just because he comes inside everyday smelling like kerosene. I always ask him to shower before dinner because if he doesn’t, the smell of the kerosene makes me so sick that I can’t finish my meal. I hope we can build a heated garage for him soon because all of this kerosene business is not for me.
