I recently started working from home, and I absolutely love it! I do a lot of online work for a company that I worked for way back in high school.
It is really a great job.
It pays well, and I get to do it all from the comfort of my own home. I am super glad that I work from home now because the furnace quit the other day, and if I had not been home, the pipes may have frozen. It was quite early in the morning when it shut off. I went to the basement to try and figure out why it was not on, but I could not get it to turn back on. I called my husband, and he told me what to do, but the furnace still would not come on. I ended up calling a local HVAC company, and they had someone over to the house within a few hours. The HVAC technician was super kind, and he was able to fix the furnace in just a few minutes. I felt so bad though because I accidently tripped him. He was coming in from getting something out of his van. I opened the door for him because he was carrying something, but I did not realize that my foot was sticking out a litte. He tripped over my foot and fell face first one the living room floor. He was super embarrassed, and I felt really bad for him. I was waiting to see if he would laugh it off so that I could laugh with him, but he did not laugh. He just got up and finished what he was doing without even saying a word. I paid him a little extra just to make up for me tripping the poor guy.
