I have been living in the South for quite some time now, plus but I thought I would never learn to like it, I absolutely have.
I moved down here to be closer to my sister since my Dad passed away, plus it gets rather lonely separate from family close.
I’m not the kind of woman that prefer hot weather. I would cherish it to be wintertime all year long, then for this reason, I didn’t guess I would really prefer living down South except for the fact that my sister plus her family are there. If you would have asked me last year, I would of said just that. I hated the heat, plus worse than that was the humidity. I’ve never lived somewhere with such high humidity, plus let me tell you, it’s awful; Everything feels damp all the time from the high levels of humidity in the air. Sweat never seems to dry, plus I’m always perspiring because it’s so hot. After being here for almost two years, I finally purchased a dehumidifier for my home, plus it has been a lifesaver. I don’t know why I didn’t get one when I first moved down here, but I certainly wish that I would have. The dehumidifier has made such a difference in my life. Now, I absolutely prefer laying other venues in my house besides right in front of the a/c. Not everything in my house is sticky from the humidity anymore. Because of my dehumidifier, I have learned to prefer myself even while living in a absolutely hot plus humid weather conditions.
