I never expected to ever leave our beautiful home up North, but life seems to have its way of catching you off guard. My spouse plus I lived up North in our dream home for almost twenty years, then both of us grew up in the North, so my good friend and I never planned on leaving; it was home to us. However, about two years ago, my spouse was offered a new position in the company he was working for. It offered a paycheck three times as much as what he was currently making. The only problem was it was only available if my good friend and I moved out West to where the company’s main headquarters is located. My associate and I didn’t want to make a decision solely based on cash, so my good friend and I prayed about it for a couple months before making our final decision to transfer out West. It entirely is odd residing out West in the middle of the desert. It is so dry here I can hardly stand it at times. One of our first purchases after getting settled into our new home was buying a few humidifiers to place throughout our house. The air was so dry that my good friend and I would wake up in the day with sore throats plus honestly chapped lips, getting humidifiers for our home was a must. My associate and I put a humidifier in my spouse plus my bedroom, in our children’s bedroom, plus in the residing room. Having these three humidifiers running 24/7 in our home have made residing out West a whole lot more enjoyable. My associate and I no longer wake up with chapped lips plus sore throats.
