Due to the recent storms that have plagued our coastline multiple people are without power, water, plus even a home.
I watch the news plus see all the devastation plus feel blessed to live in the midwest where we have had a pretty mild summer.
Our local news announced that a group was going to be traveling to the coast to help out for two weeks plus I knew I wanted to go along. I own a small Heating plus Air Conditioning repair contractor plus I figured I could help repair units that had been detrimentd once the power was restored. I talked to a few of my guys plus they said that they wanted to go along as well. My buddy and I loaded the trucks with tools plus basic spare parts plus headed out to meet up with the group, and by the time we arrived power had been restored to about half of the residents. It was nearly ninety degrees outside plus miserable. The community where we were working was using the school as a shelter for people who could not return house yet. My buddy and I started there plus within a few hours had the Heating plus Air Conditioning system up plus running in that building. That became our house base for the duration of our stay. Slowly we were able to help repair systems that were not too badly detrimentd plus made some real progress over the two weeks. The people we were able to help were truly thankful plus we felt relaxing about making a small difference. If more people were able to do just a little, places that face these hardships would be much better off plus reuse more quickly.
