A mission to help out

A mission to help out

Due to the recent storms that have plagued our coastline multiple people are without power, water, and even a home.

I watch the news and see all the devastation and feel blessed to live in the midwest where my pal and I have had a pretty mild summer.

Our local news announced that a group was going to be traveling to the coast to help out for two weeks and I knew I wanted to go along. I own a small Heating plus Air Conditioning repair company and I figured I could help repair units that had been harmd once the power was restored. I talked to a few of my women and they said that they wanted to go along as well. My associate and I loaded the trucks with tools and basic spare parts and headed out to meet up with the group… By the time my pal and I arrived power had been restored to about half of the residents. It was nearly ninety degrees outside and irritated. The community where my pal and I were toiling was using the school as a shelter for people who could not return home yet. My associate and I started there and within a few hours had the Heating plus Air Conditioning system up and running in that building. That became our home base for the duration of our stay. Slowly my pal and I were able to help repair systems that were not too badly harmd and made some real progress over the two weeks. The people my pal and I were able to help were really thankful and my pal and I felt nice about making a small difference. If more people were able to do just a little, locales that face these hardships would be much better off and recover more hastily.
