The transition from coming from the northeast and down into the south is sometimes difficult for me.
I have a lot of family members that go down south to escape the cold weather during the winter. They have houses in small condos near the ocean and bays. I’m blissful that they can go down there and escape the winter. Especially for my Grandparents because they are much older and they can’t afford shoveling the driveway, dealing with the cold weather and driving in it. My uncle is also down there and her spouse. They assist my Grandparents whenever they need help. My uncle is down there all year round and never wants to come back up north. I recently just bought a plane ticket to go down there during the winter. It’s good because I’ll be able to see almost everyone. There is mainly pretty much a party every evening because all the family members party for supper and drinks. Coming from a massive family is a blessing, but when parties are thrown in a small apartment they can get very hot and sticky. Not to mention the heat outside doesn’t help at all. The transition from coming from the northeast and down into the south is sometimes difficult for me. I cannot stay out in the Sun for several hours or I will get a harsh sunburn. Whereas my family members who live down there all year round are used to it. When I visit my uncle knows to turn up the temperature on temperature control very low for me so the AC will continuously kick on.
