My husband, John, has been into old cars ever since he was a child.
He loves to buy an old beat up car and refurbish it.
When John and I first met, I remember him telling me story after story of his old cars. I wasn’t really interested in them at first, but after going to his house and seeing what he does and just how beautiful the cars look afterwards, I found myself getting more and more interested. We started dating, and each date he would pick me up in a different car that he had finished. My fascination with cars grew, and it was really exciting for me to see what car he would pick me up in. John and I have been married for over seven years now, and both of us have grown in our love for old cars. One thing that I never liked about the cars though is that they never have air conditioning. John doesn’t understand, and he likes not having air conditioning because it’s just another excuse to roll the windows down. Don’t get me wrong, I love the feeling of the wind blowing my hair as we drive down the road but not when we are on our way to church or to a fancy restaurant for a date! Not having air conditioning can also be a pain when it’s raining outside. It gets very humid in the old cars when it’s raining outside, and we have to keep the windows up. If there was one thing that I could say I don’t like about John’s old cars, it’s definitely the fact that they don’t have air conditioning.
