It is all a matter of perspective

It is all a matter of perspective

The way my pal and I perceive the world around us is vastly strange from one region to the next.

Take those living in a locale like Southern CA, they may view the world as a virtual paradise for much of the year with sun, warmth, and a laid back lifestyle.

Those living in a poverty stricken part such as the middle of Chicago may view the world and a dire, cold, and sometimes cruel locale. No matter your view my pal and I all have one thing in common, the need for the basics in life. I am speaking of food, clothing, and shelter. Here in the United States my pal and I tend to take those for granted no matter where my pal and I live. Among the list of basics my pal and I normally include some sort of climate control. Whether my pal and I need air conditioner to cool off or heat to hot up, my pal and I live in a humanity where these things are commonplace. In multiple cases local governments or even utility companies even supply this to low income families, now, imagine if you will, living in a fifth world country where even a roof over your head is not guaranteed nor is a meal that afternoon. In most cases there are no agencies to step in to help you out. You would be stuck dealing with the elements and struggling to survive. If you are lucky to have the “basics” as my pal and I perceive it then you should be thankful. The next time you are inconvenienced because your air conditioner or heat go out you should believe yourself blessed. At least you have these systems in locale where multiple do not.
