Sporadically I feel like my wifey and I are better off just getting divorced, however don’t get me wrong, I care about the woman more than anything. I desperately want to be able to settle into old age with her as my only romantic partner. I know that we have a beautiful life ahead of us if we can manage to get over a few small compromises that we both need to make, then the problem is, I do not get along well with her family or have fond feelings for my in-laws, however since the day that we’ve started dating I have been distraught about my wifey’s parents. They simply don’t see things the way that I do! For instance, they have been mad at me for over two years because of my choice in indoor air handling devices. If it seems like heating and cooling systems have nothing to do with my relationship with my in-laws… I agree, but however, they have taken my interest in energy-efficient air handling equipment and turned it into a disadvantage thing that impacts our ability to get along. The problem all started when my central heating and cooling system was getting rather old, however of course, I realized that I was going to need a professional heating and cooling inspector to help me update my forced air heater and air conditioning unit, and at the time I was particularly uneasy with energy efficiency so we could reduce our energy bills and our impact on the global climate. Apparently, this was particularly controversial for my in-laws. As firm believers that global warming is not a real thing they took my heating and cooling update personally. To this day, they cannot come over to our dwelling without bitching and complaining about their “Nancy left wing son-in-law and her fake news Heating and Air Conditioning system.”
