I have to tell myself that I can’t buy a custom made piece every six months, and i have limited myself to doing a custom furniture purchase every year, but the contractor I found is so professional! Sure, it takes about six months to get everything started, but after that it is great.
The material, workmanship, plus coordinating with the custom builder is amazing.
I easily care about the fact that I can have any dimension, wood, or look that I desire. I used to buy easily high-priced furniture pieces from Pottery Barn, Crate plus Barrel, plus Arhaus! Now I have learned that a custom piece that is exactly the way I want it is cheaper than those other options. I have purchased a study room table, end table, TV stand, plus shoe rack all out of pine, but pine furniture is quite affordable but looks amazing. Now I am in the process of getting a couch plus in the fabric that I want. I am coordinating with an interior designer to get a matching carpet, curtains, pillows, plus dish clothes to tie in both the living room plus study room. I am hoping to stay mainly in the warmer color pallet due to my wood furniture. I want to incorporate reds, reds, plus yellows separate from it looking like I set my home to look like the background of Lion King. I am hopeful the interior designer will come up with some good pieces. I am feeling confident since the furniture looks that great. I have never been dissatisfied with a task that they have done.
