I’m absolutely not the type of human who jumps from relationship to relationship.
In fact, there is usually quite an extended stage of time in between my romantic partnerships if I can help it.
I would much rather spend some time alone and analyze what went wrong then to jump into another dysfunctional arrangement with somebody new. This is why I’ve spent the last year or so completely single. Don’t get me wrong, there have been times that I have wished I had a romantic partner. But at the same time, I’ve been pretty thrilled to exclusively control my indoor environment and sleep schedule for the past year. However, it seems like that is finely changing, you see, about a month ago I started seeing somebody new. Immediately, it’s apparent that I’m going to have to make some indoor air temperature swings if I want this relationship to last comfortably. You see, for the past year I’ve been perfectly thrilled sleeping with my small AC window component in my bedroom for sufficient cool air and circulation. It has not been a big problem to run my small cooling system and stay comfortable all evening… Now, abruptly there is another human trying to stay in my bed which is a lot warmer than ever before. Suddenly it’s apparent that additional circulation and ventilation equipment is going to be necessary. Namely, I’m going to have to get a giant box fan in place so I can supply some extra circulation and cool air to the room before I sweat all over on my modern girlfriend again.
