In the summer, cuddling is absolutely disgusting.
Say what you will about winter, but it has its merits. As much as everyone loves to talk about summer being the best season of them all, I have to disagree. I think that summer is great… For a while. There are definitely some enjoyable activities that can only take place when there’s brilliant sun and consistent heat. You probably can’t plan a trip to the beach or a major pool party if you’re have a chance of variable weather. That’s why summer is the king of them all in most people’s eyes. For me, however, there is a lot to be said about cool weather. Personally, cold weather makes me a lot more open and friendly to other people. I love feeling safe and secure wrapped in a sweatshirt and jacket when I’m out on the town. I also love the sensation of cool air against your skin when you’re cuddling with someone new. There’s nothing as exhilarating as the feeling of cool, drafty surroundings, when you’re pressed up against someone warm. In the summer, cuddling is absolutely disgusting. There’s so much heat building up between the two of you that it turns into a sweaty, swampy Mass very quickly. That is not attractive or romantic. Getting overheated and sweaty only makes me want to go take a burning hot shower to get all of the grime off. When it comes to having a quiet, cuddly evening alone, bring on the cool air and give me Fall weather.
