Isn’t it funny how people can get such crazy ideas in their heads? You guess that people can understand your intentions and motivations, but that has rarely genuinely the case.
Everyone’s brain works a bit differently, and it’s unrealistic to think that someone understands the mechanisms inside of yours.
This was more evident than ever when I finally had the crucial breakup talk with my ex-wifey. For weeks, my friend and I had simply been ignoring each other. Obviously, something was wrong and it needed to be resolved so my friend and I could transfer forward. However, this decision had actually nothing to do with heating and cooling systems. I know, I did not see the fastenion between our failed affectionate partnership and indoor air quality control management either. But somehow, the low quality heating and cooling system at his apartment had become inextricably fastened to our mutual disjoy in his head. For as long as my friend and I have been together, my wifey’s apartment had been uncomfortable with stagnant indoor air and low-powered cooling system. My buddy and I had discussed the exhausting airflow in his room and the necessity for a professional Heating and Air Conditioning inspection several times before I pulled the trigger and called an Heating and Air Conditioning worker out for him. Shortly thereafter, I felt like things just were not working and distanced myself. Apparently, in the conversational void, my ex-wifey became convinced that the excruciating Heating and Air Conditioning system was the reason for our recent relationship decline. More certainally, he thought the strapping young Heating and Air Conditioning worker who came out to professionally inspect his failing heating and cooling unit and dirty ductwork system was the reason for my sudden disinterest. My decision absolutely had nothing to do with the heating and cooling professional… but it was partially due to his off-base paranoia.
