My husband, Vince, and I just started our own business.
We both had good jobs, so it was a very difficult decision for us to give up our jobs and take the risk of starting our own business.
We knew it was what we both truly wanted, so we dove right in. My husband is an amazing electrician, and I really enjoy secretarial work, so starting our own electrical business just seemed to fit our dreams. So far, we have had much success, and my husband has already had to hire a young man to help him. Although we aren’t struggling financially, we aren’t millionaires yet either, so we try and life a very humble life. We have had the same vehicle for over ten years now. We are looking for a new one, but we are trying to be very wise about our choices. Our poor old car’s air conditioning quit working a couple months ago, and that has pushed up to look for a new vehicle even harder. None of our vehicles ever had air conditioning for very long; I think it’s just our destiny to not have air conditioning in our cars. Our vehicle now is a little bit more difficult to deal without having air conditioning because it has a black, leather interior. We have dealt with vehicles without air conditioning before, and it wasn’t a big deal, but black leather seats feel like a furnace in the middle of the summer. The entire family is praying we find a new vehicle soon, and thankfully with our new business growing so quickly, we will be able to purchase a new vehicle in no time.
