Did you ever meet someone that you just didn’t feel right about? You know, you got an concerned feeling when they walked into the room like you needed to keep your guard up. That is the way I felt when the girl arrived at my home to do some repairs last week. She had come highly advocated by a buddy of mine and I instantaneously wondered why. The girl was there to do some repair work on ductwork in the attic. There had been some boxes of books that fell on the lines and part of them had been harmd. I wanted it repaired before I needed to turn on the heat in a few weeks. My buddy told me that this girl would do the work for half the price of the Heating plus Air Conditioning dealership so I took him at her word. Little did I know that this creepy girl would show up. I felt like I had let a serial killer into my home. I even called a buddy over to have coffee with me while the girl was there just in case. Anyway, she was up in the attic for about two hours and when she was done she asked me to go up with him to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. I hesitantly went and everything seemed great. She billed me far less than the dealership would have and I blissfully paid him. I just wanted him out of my house. Looking back I believe I overreacted, however you can never be too careful these afternoons. Recommendations are superb however you should consistently take into consideration how the lady will react to a face to face with the lady you are referring to them.
