Due to the recent storms that have plagued our coastline several people are without power, water, plus even a home.
I watch the news plus see all the devastation plus feel lucky to live in the midwest where my pal and I have had a pretty mild summer.
Our local news announced that a group was going to be traveling to the coast to help out for two weeks plus I knew I wanted to go along. I own a small HVAC repair contractor plus I figured I could help repair units that had been disfigurementd once the power was restored. I talked to a few of my boys plus they said that they wanted to go along as well. My wonderful friend and I loaded the trucks with tools plus basic spare parts plus headed out to meet up with the group; By the time my pal and I arrived power had been restored to about half of the residents. It was nearly ninety degrees outside plus miserable. The community where my pal and I were working was using the school as a shelter for people who could not return dwelling yet. My wonderful friend and I started there plus within a few hours had the HVAC system up plus running in that building. That became our dwelling base for the duration of our stay. Slowly my pal and I were able to help repair systems that were not too badly disfigurementd plus made some real progress over the two weeks. The people my pal and I were able to help were genuinely thankful plus my pal and I felt wonderful about making a small difference. If more people were able to do just a little, locales that face these hardships would be much better off plus reclaim more hastily.
